2019: Minna Stands Still As Northern Youths Drum Support For Atiku

The youths, under the umbrella of: “Coalition for
Northern and Southern Youths Assembly,” North
Central chapter, brought both business and
government activities to a standstill in Minna
when they staged a mini carnival to mobilize the
youths to queue behind Abubakar for 2019.

Niger State on Friday came to a stand still when
youths in their thousands from the North Central
geopolitical zone of the country converged to
drum support for former Vice President Atiku
Abubakar for presidency come 2019.
The youths, under the umbrella of: “Coalition for
Northern and Southern Youths Assembly,” North
Central chapter, brought both business and
government activities to a standstill in Minna
when they staged a mini carnival to mobilize the
youths to queue behind Abubakar for 2019.

The mini carnival, which terminated at the
Abdulsalami Abubakar Youths Center in Minna,
where they gathered in their hundreds, is the
largest gathering of youths in recent time.
This is coming barely four days after the former
Vice President declared his intention to contest
the Presidency in 2019 during his visit to Port
Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The convener of the Assembly, Comrade Patricia
Ogar, told the youths in her welcome address
that the way forward for the millions of jobless
Nigerian youths is to support the presidential
ambition of Abubakar in 2019.
